Yosemite - Vernal Fall Trek

The clan minus Travis & DH headed out for the trek to Vernal Fall...G'ma determined early that her newly operated on knee was not ready for the hike - we're so glad she did, it was a challenge for those of us with two good good knees.

You may be asking where Travis & DH are...well they were trekking up Yosemite falls/El Capitan. Way to go boys!!!

Yosemite in June is beautiful, I was not anticipating being in complete awe of rocks and trees. It is so worth the visit. Because of all the rain we had this year the falls were outstanding!!! I will be back for sure!

Another Day at the Beach

We were lucky enough to have our dear friends from Missoula by way of Eugene visit us for Memorial day weekend. This is the first of many posts that will show you our journey through their visit and G'ma S's birthday week.

We tried to take Noah canoeing for the first time...He pretty much screamed the entire time we were on the boat, he kept trying to climb out. He wasn't scared he just wanted to swim. Also, he REFUSED to wear his sun hat!
