How does it go...When a door closes a window opens? I had the most upsetting experience I've ever had with a health care provider yesterday. I'm fine and it's over but it filled me all sorts of emotions! I was just so frustrated, I just needed some good news. So glad that door is closed!

The news...DH got straight A's - he really is the smartest person I know. I don't know anyone (personally) who gets straight A's in a doctorate program! I'll take that window.






More news...we got our official invitation to the January workshop for our adoption! As soon as I got the mail I immediately called CSSM to RSVP. Guess who was the first to RSVP??? That's right the CROTZER'S!! Are you surprised? We have a list of required reading to get through in the next month and a half, including one by Dr. Phil - DH is making fun of me 'cause I'm taking it so seriously. If they required me to read a book by Carrot Top I would....and I'll take that window too!

My office Christmas party is tonight which is always fun. Our weather is supposed to turn this evening. We are supposed to have a few hours of heavy snow tonight, tomorrow we are supposed to get some frigid winds out of the North East that will cause the temp to drop substantially. High for Sunday is projected to be 3, with the windchill they are saying it will be -35. Warnings are being broadcast not to go outside for more than 5 minutes no matter how bundled your are. I think I will be renting a lot of movies this afternoon to get me through.
