"Home"work

It feels good to do little bits of the remodel, makes it more like "our" project.

We had to paint the flashing for the skylights - I don't know how many pieces but there were a lot! Thanks to DH it went pretty quickly.

Project#2 - It little more dangerous and tedious - BURNING!!

At some point in history the walls were covered with fabric wallpaper

Our job was getting rid of the remnant strings with FIRE!

Now remember this is a 102 year old house (on Friday)

with very dry wood

We got'er done and the house is still standing

Our closet to be someday our bathroom

The super sweet storage area...

we sat back here for a bit chatting about what a great fort area it will be for kids

It will be!
